The Dawn of the Golden Age is the latest work from Geoff Wicken and is a wonderful look at the 1959/60 promotion campaign.

This will be a must have book, my first ever season following the Hornets. From the opening match a 0 0 draw against Stockport to the promotion at the end with Holton and Uphill scoring the goals and Bunce and Benning on the wings. Although now living in Swindon I can happily say my 2 grandchildren follow the long time family tradition and support Watford.
